Walter Ventosilla

With over 20 years of experience in content marketing, branding, community health communications and ESL (Education, Information and Communication),  Walter has worked with many health organizations such as office of Communications at the Pan American Health Organization in Peru (PAHO, UN) to support the Ministry of Health, Social Security Institute in Peru.

He has also worked as a consultant for Johns Hopkins University, CARE, and UNICEF developing communication plans and strategies to inform, educate, and modify the behavior of youth and adult populations. He tackled issues such as nutrition, pneumonia, domestic violence, diseases such as HIV/AIDS and other STDs, and more by producing printed and audiovisual educational materials.

He is an accomplished writer and theater director. He is  the author of more than 16 works written and performed in Peru and other Latin American countries. He has worked with independent and professional theater groups  in Peru, France, and the U.S.

As an educator he has extensive experience directing theater groups of children, adolescents, and adults. He has directed for five consecutive years (2007-2011), in New York City, the enactment of the Inti-Raymi, directing around 50 actors and gaining several awards and recognition as an outstanding director.
